Start 4th of July with a Bang!  Come out with the family to one of Denver's best and largest 4th of July runs.  The Liberty Run includes a 4 Mile Run/Walk and the Firecracker Kids Fun Run.  

Dress in your best Red, White and Blue get up.   Prizes will be awarded for best kids and best adult display of USA.

Don't miss the post race expo with great food, beverages and lots of fun for all ages. What better way to start your 4th!

Packet Pick-Up Information - Except for in-store registration locations, all bibs, t-shirts and timing chips will be distributed on event day starting at 7:30 AM near the start line.

Parthenia "Potts" Jones has been a mainstay in the Denver running community for the past 30+ years, and has volunteered at hundreds of races and is always smiling and giving out hugs. She is was inducted in 2010 to the Colorado Running Hall of Fame.  And even if you've never had the pleasure to meet Potts, she's definitely worked a race that you've run, and has cheered you through the finish line.  Unfortunately Potts was recently diagnosed with Cancer and her medical expenses are mounting.  This year the Liberty Run will be in her honor and a portion of proceeds will be donated to her.  Potts has been there bringing us through our fights, it is time we return the love and help her.

Awards in the 4 Mile will be given to the overall male and female, then to the top three males and top three females in the following age groups: 12 and under, 13-19. 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.

Costume Contest Awards presented to the best decked out USA adult and child.
